INTROP was honour to receives Dr Alex Berg, from University of Concepción, Chile as visiting scientist from 21 July to 4 August 2018. Currently, he’s Executive Director of Unit for Technological Development (UDT), University of Concepción, Chile. With vast experiences in R&D and developing technology for pilot scale facilities, his visit has gave very much exposure and new knowledge to UPM researchers and students. His areas expertise in wood chemistry, bio products and bio refineries.

During his visit, he was invited as Keynote Speaker in SAFEBIOPACK 2018 conference. He also gave public lecture and consultation to UPM’s researchers, young inventors and students. INTROP really appreciates his present and looking forward to meet Dr Alex Berg in future.
