KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 - Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamed Thariq Bin Haji Hameed Sultan and his research team Prof. Dr. Yusri bin Yusof, Muhammad Imran Najeeb, Dr. Ahmad Hamdan bin Ariffin, Dr. Syeed SaifulAzry Osman Al Edrus, Mohd Edyazuan Azni, Dr. Ahmad Adlie Shamsuri and Mohd Lufti bin Mohd Tawil represented INTROP,UPM had won 1^st Place on Machination and Equipment cluster for University category at the Selangor Research, Development and Innovation Expo 2019 and had received research grant worth RM10,000 by YAB TUAN AMIRUDIN BIN SHARI, Menteri Besar Selangor.

This success was the results of a collaboration between a group of researchers from UTHM led by Prof. Dr. Yusri bin Yusof and Malaysia Unmanned Drones Activist Society (MUDAS) led by Mohamad Noor Bin AB Rahim and Mr. William Robert Alvisse. Thanks also to Ahli Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat, Mr Irwan and Mr Razali who have worked together with the university on community projects from the beginning until now.
