SERDANG, AUGUST 13, 2024 – The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Centre (PKKSSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized the Inter- PTJ Jalur Gemilang Program Competition 2024. The event, which took successfully attracted active and creative participation from support staff, students, and management members of the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP).

INTROP participated in the competition with the involvement of 40 staff members. They diligently prepared for the event since early July 2024. Among the activities that captivated the audience titled ‘The Sweetness of INTROP Stop’. The lively performance also featured singing and dancing, which captivated the judges.

The judging panel comprised five main judges, ten independent judges, and five photographers, who worked throughout the competition. The judging, which lasted 20 minutes, was filled with excitement due to the presence of international students who also attended the event.

The 2024 Inter-PTJ Jalur Gemilang Program Competition is an initiative by PKKSSAAS, UPM, aimed at fostering patriotism through various cultural and artistic activities. It also serves as a platform for university residents to celebrate the 67^th anniversary of the country’s independence.

The organization of this program is hoped to enhance the love and pride for the homeland among all UPM members, in line with this year’s Independence theme, Malaysia Madani: Jiwa Merdeka!
