SERDANG 15 July 2022 – Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP) with cooperation Leave a Nest Sdn. Bhd. has organised a Closed Seminar Between INTROP and Leave a Nest (Japan and Malaysia). The seminar aims to share collaborative research opportunities between university researchers and Japanese companies in the Leave a Nest ecosystem.

INTROP representatives were led by the Director, Prof. Ts. Dr. Khalina Abdan, and three Senior Research Officers, namely Dr. Syeed SaifulAzry Osman Al-Edrus, Dr. Norfaryanti Kamaruddin and Dr. Muhammad Aizat Abdul Ghani. While the representative of Leave a Nest Sdn. Bhd. led by the Managing Director, Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi and Dr. Yukihiro Maru, Dr. Yuko Ueno and Dr. Kengo Suzuki.

The Closed Seminar lasted seven hours in the Seminar Room of the Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP). Both sides have discussed creating a new platform with UPM to empower local technology researchers and entrepreneurs, especially in the fields of agricultural technology and education.
